LAS VEGAS (July 2nd, 2020) –
WHAT: Lee Canyon will be closed for operations on Friday, July 3. Currently, upper Lee Canyon Rd is closed to the public due to the Mahogany Fire. This week, the resort has been working to aid fire crews in their effort to contain the Mahogany Fire that started on Sunday, June 28. Lee Canyon’s snowmaking pond is being used in firefighting and cleanup efforts.
When the area closure is lifted, Lee Canyon will resume its normal summer operations, which are Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the holiday weekend, the public is advised to check Lee Canyon’s website and social media for status updates.
